hydraulics

Postby farmerhugh » Mon Aug 09, 2004 7:23 pm

hello everyone this forum is a goldmine of information....here is my problem-i am restoring a 1951 cub and rebuilt the engine and hydraulics this winter-all was well engine ran and rock shaft worked fine. this summer i am finishing up the rest of the tractor and solving some minor leaks (hydraulic pump). i removed the pump to reseal it at the block then i put it together-no more leak. awhile later working out other minor bugs i proceeded to go thru the bleed procedure. the problem is the rockshaft goes down fine but comes up extremely slow with no strength-any suggestions?-thanks hugh

I would guess that one of the regulator valves is stuck.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!
