J 4 Magneto Help

Postby Jon From NY » Wed Aug 11, 2004 3:18 pm

Hi Guys, I took my J4 mag off my cub today to tune up and I am a little confused . Does the rotor come off the rotor gear or is it all the same piece? And where might I find one if thats the case. I have new points, condenser,Coil, and Cap. I could not find a listing for a Rotor.

Jon, the gear is part of the rotor. If you have no Case IH dealer close by, you can try Carter & Gruenewald online at http://www.cngco.com or http://www.magnetoparts.com

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!
