Re: forum runs slowYup. For me also. I'm on dial up. Took me 15 minutes to get logged onto the board tonight.
I can get connected to other sites - no problem. Edit. Lower left corner "E". Says 70 items to load when changing pages. I'm on Socket out of Columbia, MO. There is also at least one remote controller between Linn and Columbia. Last edited by Eugene on Mon Jun 02, 2008 8:46 am, edited 1 time in total.
I have an excuse. CRS.
Re: forum runs slowI am no longer on dial up (thank goodness), but I am not seeing any problems except for those coming from my ISP. Centurytel has their system overloaded in this area and of an evening when school is out it can e a real problem. Now that school is out for the summer it is improving though.

Re: forum runs slowFor those of you on dial-up, or if you just miss that old home look of the old forum, you can now try the SubSilver2 theme. It uses some old tech methods that sometime in the future may no longer be supported, but it may be a little faster for slow connections and older browsers (TECHNICAL ALERT: Light on the CSS stuff).
I personally, prefer the new style, but to each his own Dennis PS: There is still some tweaking to the menu to be done. . . I'll work on that as time permits.
