Three point hitch questions
If I were to put a three point hitch on my 184, would i still be able to have the mower deck on there too or would it have to be removed to use the three point? Is there a good source for three point hitch parts for these lowboys? Thanks guys.

Re: Three point hitch questions
It still works with the mower deck because you need to install a hydraulic selector valve so you can seperate each one when operating it. (center rocker shaft & rear 3pt hitch) Ebay is the only place i see for 3pt hitches unless a tractor scrap yard has one.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Re: Three point hitch questions
Other than the cylinder and maybe the selector valve/ switch, I think I could just about build one if I could find the parts for a pattern. Might not be easy but, I think I could.

Re: Three point hitch questions
You can build one yourself sure. Anything is possible with a torch and a welder and enough time and money! Just look at NASA. By the way my 154 is Tee'ed in to the belly mower lift. It uses a locking bar to isolate the 3 point. I don't see the need for a diverter valve. But they are nice to have. Get you a good shop manual so that you can see the hydraulic system break down. You will want to get the cessna cylinder and there are some on e=bay right now. Beware the hydraulic fittings are oddball. Good hunting
