26 years ago today I was a nervous wreck waiting for my wedding to take place at 7:00 PM. Today, I look forward to at least 26 more years with the love of my life. What a lady

Thanks one and all for the well-wishes and sincerity. She has had her hands full putting up with me all these years! I tell her she is the glue that has held our family together through tough times and the party planner to help us celebrate the good. And speaking of good, I just got some more good news. Jeremy (24 years old) graduated two years ago and has just been picking up work as he could find it as a freelance programmer. The company he has been contracted to the past four weeks just hired him full-time. He begins full-time immediately and benefits commence in 30 days. He will be making as much as I do and will only have to move 40 miles from home. He is ecstatic and so are his mom and dad

Congrats on the annivesary, and on the beginning to your son's career!
You've just nailed two of the happiest days of life: the celebration of a perfect partnership (that for me is still a daily work in progress, even after 33 years!); and gently moving one more young'un off the payroll!
Both great reasons to be proud...and happy!
