Ha . . . that's a funny looking "H"! A 460 for $2200 is a great deal. Love the way those 6 cylinder engines sound. And you can do alot with the hydraulics. Does it have T/A?

Good luck with it.

We had a 560D and later a 460 gasser on the farm. The 460 was a loader tractor and was ideal for that job. You should really like this one!

You got a deal on that one. I don't think I ever saw a fast-hitch subsoiler before.

I saw that over on Redpower.com. They were talking about how the guy called it an H. Doesn't look like you did too bad to me, especially with the implements that came with it.

We got up at 3 am this morning and went and retrieved the 460. It was a 4 and a half hr. drive, the guy I bought it from sade it cranked easy. Well it needs a good battery to crank an old diesel :D but we finally got it running in about an hr. but it runs well.

David - that looks like a very nice, clean and straight 460. Did you try the TA?

Good job David, I forgot to ask about the tractor today when I called. Looks like everything worked out well

Look's like a real nice tractor. Wow, it's even got all the original sheet metal! At $100 per skirt piece, that's a real plus!

3 bottom plow makes it easier to plant more corn with your "C" planter. It looks like the 460 might have a independent PTO. That will make it nicer to run a picker. Better look for a 2 row.
Oh yeah, you are going to need more hogs to keep up with the increased corn production. :)
Best,
Mike
