Anyone know how to remove the countershaft nut (which is the drive for the hydraulic pump) on an H?
is it right hand thread? is there a special tool that mimics the pump drive?
thanks, art

Re: H countershaft nut
I think it is a right hand thread. Use a pinch bar (not a round one, obviously).

Re: H countershaft nut
thanks, Jim. the service manual simply says "remove nut..." but its not a nut at all.
a piece of 18" X 4" X 1/2" thick flat stock, a pipe wrench inside on the spacer, and a hammer did the trick.
knowing it was not left hand thread increased my confidence to apply the pressure required to remove it. thanks.
