Got me swingin'

Postby allenlook » Tue Sep 21, 2004 11:15 am

Anybody know what this is? I found it hidden in the trees on the front of my property... It's heavy as heck, made of real solid steel, and has mount points on the short side. The long side has a little bend in it that looks built in...

I put it on the back of the Cub to haul it back to the house - none of the holes line up w/the drawbar, so I just set it over the balls on the bar...

Check with your local power company. It's similiar to platforms I've seen for lifting transformers into place.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

I would tend to agree with John, Probably belongs to a utility company. Those bends are probably from either lifting a heavy transformer or trying to use it as a forklift.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Hmmmmm... With a single large caster wheel on the far end of it (with the short leg of the "L" sticking up at the back, it sure would make a nice carryall :D

Or maybe a wheelie bar :D
