Re: Pete Green (Starpoint Mayor)Barbara,
I am deepely saddened by this news...although Pete and I had not had the opportunity to meet in person, we frequently communicated about the possibility of making it happen. We had so much in common and enjoyed exchanging information about our love for our old Cubs, gardening, the weather, our families...we just simply hit it off and right now, my heart is breaking for you and your family. God bless you during this very trying time and I pray that he will grant you the peace that passeth all understanding. Gary 1968 Cub LoBoy w/Woods C-42 Mower

Re: Pete Green (Starpoint Mayor)Dear Mrs. Barbara,
I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss, and thank you kindly for your strength in sharing this sad news with all of Pete's Cub friends. While Pete and I never looked each other in the eye or had the good fortune to shake hands, your husband shared with me a window to his strong character and soul through his many posts and private messages on this forum, and through many telephone conversations we enjoyed over the last year. A fine man. If there is anything any of us Georgia folks can do for you during this painful and trying time, or in the months and years which follow, please reach out, and we'll be there. On that you have my word. Take good care Mrs Barbara, and rest easy knowing your beloved Pete is at peace. Now is a time of untold grief, but your pain will gradually give way to fond memories, and your love for Pete will endure. Charles Russell/Corky's Cub I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
