A Personal Christmas Blessing (excuse me for celebrating)

Postby Jeff M » Thu Dec 25, 2008 6:06 am

Sorry about this, but I can help myself. My wife, Vonla, has just beaten the breast cancer demon, which as most of you know is no mean feat. It was detected in the earliest stages by routine mammogram and treated aggressively. She is now totally cancer-free. She's also breast-free, but will benefit from total reconstruction so that she'll be good as new.

One of my co-workers just lost his wife after a 4-year fight with this stuff. I don't know what I'd do if that happened.

We are so blessed.

Thank you, and a Merry Christmas to everyone! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Jeff and Vonla:

What a wonderful Christmas present huh? Em and I are thrilled and relieved that the prognosis is still good. We have you in our prayers daily and think of you both all the time. We were just remarking on how wonderful this year has been for so many of our friends, being able to overcome adversity. A great Christmas to be sure.

Hugs to you both from the family.
