The cubs are ok!!!

Had a little storm in our area. Knocked down the main building at a local lumber yard and had 9 people trapped fro a while. Some injuries but nothing life threatening. The hail beat my roof up pretty bad and made a fist size hole in the vinyl siding, as well as dimpling the car and pickup. No one hurt at my place thankfully.

Severeal years ago I was grading our road where it goes through the woods when a hail storm I couldn't see coming blew in. I headed for the house and as I passed the basement entrance I hit the kill switch and the cub was still moving as I was going down the steps. That hail hurt, but if I had been hit by some of the hailstones I found last night I probably wouldn't have survived. I picked up some an hour later that were still about the size of medium hen eggs.

Guess part of that storm hit Baltimore the other day. They had a hail, sleet storm cause a 80 car accident. fortunately no one was killed. Bev and I would have been in it if we hadn't decided to stop and visit with our son and grand kids in VA as we passed through.

I would have been home to add another car to the list if I hadn't stopped to talk to one of the mechanics at the local Ford garage, while picking up my daughters car from repair. She got home in time to get her car beat up.

Glad to hear you are OK. I got the report of bad weather in your area during the noon hour news.
