Brake pedel return springs

The brake pedel return springs are shot and have been cobbled on my Cub. Will hardware store springs work or will I need to orders a set from CaseIH?

Eugene - If you are looking for functionality, you can match them up at any good hardware store.

Might need to use 2 to get the proper travel and strength, but they are out of site.

I've had success taking an old spring to the hardware store and getting one of the same diameter, but longer, and using side-cutters, needle nose pliers, and some patience :lol: :lol: , to fashion one fairly similar.

Eugene:

Tom over at TM Tractor has good used ones at about $1.50 each if I remember correctly. He also gets the new ones from Columbia I think.

I had him send me both, and the used ones were as good as the new ones aside from a little bit of oxidization.

Put em on Ellie and been working good for 2 years :!:
