I have been planting by the moon all my life and I think it works .
Here are some dates to plant by, you may want to try it.
This is for VA, W VA, KY, OHIO, PA , MO, IL, IN KS, CO, UT, NV,MD and northern Ca
Sweet corn early, planting days 4/1-17 best moon days 4/1-9
Late planting days 7/7-21 best moon days 7/7 and 7/21
beets early 3/15-4/3 3/15-25
late 8/15-30 8/15-19
peas green 3/7-30 3/7-10 and 3/26-30
white taters 4/1-30 4/10-23

It works well for me but I am an old fool I guess

We have to plant when the ground and weather permits here!! --usually like to do spuds on day 100,--BUT the weather dont always allow that to happen!---some folks swear by the moon!---guess its what ever works! thanks; sonny
