Valve Train Hickup

Postby Hickup » Thu Apr 09, 2009 6:34 pm

Can anyone help me with valve tippet specs for my C? I finally have her running. :D I noticed some strange sounds so I opened the valve cover to discover a couple of rods not connected to the tippits and the valve springs. I moved the set screws so that they where touching and freed up a couple of springs that were stuck. Now I want to make sure that they are all moving appropriatly.. I dont even know where to begin :? :?

You need the .014" between the valve lever and the end of the valve stem (valve spring side).

If you do not own them, you need the operators manual and service manuals for your tractors.
