I am close to Steiner, about a half hour away. When I want something from them I try to wait for their customer appreciation day and have lunch on them. They sure have a nice show room and help.

most of their stuff is pretty decent, but they sheet metal leaves a bit to be desired....I've purchased fenders that had some issues, and a friend bought a battery box that was very poorly made
I've never met a tractor I didn't like....but I have found some that were greatly annoying....

I just bought a supposedly original style muffler for my H form them. The inlet is too large and will not clamp down without distorting. I emailed them about it, but they did not reply.

Anthony:

I have heard good and not so good about Steiner. I do know that they are pricey, most of it is reproductionss, some quality and a lot not so hot quality, so I don't bother. I prefer my site sponsors, CaseIH Dealers, members who are parts suppliers, or :eBay: to get most of my parts. Repro's I usually can get made locally or by one of our members.. such as RP :D :{_}: 8)

Did you get the emails :?: :?: :?:

The problem I have with them is that there shipping charges are very high and out of line 90% of the time. I work at Dow Corning sending out 70-100 small packages through ups daily and I know what it cost to ship the product. I want to clear that up there handling fees are ridiculous.
