I've nailed a woodchuck with a bushhog, but never a possum with a Cub.

Never did have Possom on Staten Island till WWII. We had a large army hospital, Hollaran General Hospital. It had been built as a mental howpital and not yet opened when the war broke out. It was ideal for the returning wounded from Europe, right near the docks. Story has it some Southern Boy Sent home and his family sent him some possom. When he was transfered they were let loose. Well, possom are a lot loke rabbits, in one way. so we now have many.
I don't know how true or false it is but My Uncle Eddy took me hunting, trapping and fishing with him for years. We never saw or caught any nor did we see sign of any opr any one else that did.
We do have a Road Kill Cafe, but it is mostly cats, dogs, pideons and sea gulls..
We never had deer on SI either, since the days of the Dutch settlers. Last few years there have been sightings that the News papers poo, pood. Well they stopped that when somebody hit one this fall.

Somebody asked George Burns (when he was about ninety years old) if he was on a special diet, all natural or organic or what ever. He replied "Heck no, I want all the preservatives I can get!

Done in bacon fat over meskeite gives a nice smokey flavor.
