all,
this weekend my brother from Portsmouth, NH gave me a poster. it pictures a gnome, driving (i think) a Farmall A, pulling a big RedHook "ESB Original Ale" beer-bottle through a field with a rope, with the logo "Defy Ordinary" at the bottom.
has anyone seen this? anyone know whose Farmall it is? there's no "A" logo on the front part of the hood... but the headlights are mounted low... the hood is flatter than a Cub's... has dual hydraulics...
i emailed Red Hook for information...
help?

all,
here's what the RedHook brewery said:
Dave,
Thanks for the email. I am shocked to say that you have truly stumped me on this one. I searched and searched, but could not find any information on the tractor. This was a stock photo from gettyimages.com. It’s a royalty free image.
There is no other identifying info/photcredit/clues. Primarily due to the fact that it was a royalty free image.
That’s about where our knowledge ends, we have no idea about the make/model of the vintage tractor. Sorry to disappoint Dave, but you should feel proud that you stumped the beer guru. Thanks again Dave, and Drink Proudly.
Cheers,
-The Beer Guru
so, we ain't gonna find out... unless one of yous knows...

The tractor is either a Farmall 200 or 230. I would say its a 230 because they have white painted grilles.
Good to see an IH in advertising instead of Brand X.

Bermuda Ken,
wow, that's cool. i think i've heard of 200's here on the forum, but not that often. i don't know anything about them. are they a "next step up" from the 140's? does anyone have pic's of any of the 200's?
thanks, Ken!

Ken,
You stepped in it this time. That isn't a 230. It's a 130. The hood has either been heavily photoshopped or maybe came off a 140.

Re: cool Farmall A poster
I think Jim nailed that one. 130. The steering goes down the right side rather than the left and you can see it's curved steering support arm in the rear. Agree they either touched up the photo to remove ID marks or swapped the hood and removed the IH emblem from the top of the grill.
