I just heard about this today from my dad. A 90 year old retired farmer has this. I was able to see it today, and reached the son, but it sounds like someone already was there a few days ago and tried to start it. The son didn't know if they were coming back again to get it to run and buy it. I told him I wanted it, but it was kind of left up in the air. The price I heard floating around (the son is friends with my dad) is ridiculously cheap
I haven't bought any tractors except one, any advice on what to do next would be appreciated.
Quit wasting time playing on the computer and go buy the tractor! Unless there is a gentlemans agreement with the other person it could be yours.
I tried calling the 90 year old..no answer. My dad says the poor gentleman is completely deaf with a degree of Alzheimers. It's an acquaintance of his that he still remembers that is kicking around the idea of buying it (IF HE CAN START IT)
I communicated to the son in law (Guardian) that I want it. I will try to meet face to face with the farmer again to show cash and get it
it is a SUPER C based on serial number
Ridiculously cheap may turn out to be very expensive.
What is the owner asking as a selling price?
I have an excuse. CRS.
Still working on it. I have a price in my head I will not go over in paying for it. the owner is 90 with a level of Alheimers. I spoke with the guardian about buying it, but he thinks it's not his call at this time. Still the owners deal to make with his friend..who hasn't yet made up his mind if he wants it.
I have offered what the asking price was (not saying yet) to the guardian.
Thats a nice looking Super C, good luck. I've always wanted a SC.
I lost out on it Even though I offered more $$$, the first party got in and hauled it away in the last few days.
guess it wasn't meant to be
Sorry about that, Todd.
