Hey yall I am new to this forum and I am just getting into restoring tractors I have a john deere 1020 and a oliver super 55 and a 63 cub and I am in the proces of restoring the cub I would like to see some pics of some 63 cubs if anyone has them My great grandpa bought it new in 63 it was worked around the family farm untill about 6 years ago dont seem tobe much wrong with it actually nothing is wrong with it nothing froze or stuck I would like to know more about the 63 cub Iwill try to get some pics soon thanks

David, welcome to the forum! Cubs underwent a style change in 63. The early cubs had the rounded nose like early cubs. Later 63's had the flat or squared-off nose like other IH tractors of the period. There are some pictures of both styles at this link:

Just scan down the page and you will find pictures. Better yet, read your way down the page. It is information you should know anyway. Then check the sticky post at the top of the forum for links and information. Sites such as Rudi's manual site can be quite valuable at times.

Welcome to the forum. You will find people here are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Not sure where you live in Tn, but next summer the Red Power Round Up will be held in Lebanon (middle Tenn). Check it out. And by the way, Rocky Top is my favorite song.

the serial number for mine is 220526 it was the 488th on to roll off the line in 1962
