I did a tune up on the H including valve adjustment. "While you're there" I painted the valve cover, generator and cut out. H won't start. The new points would not ground. A points file fixed that. H starts right up. I drove it over to the shed and it was not charging and the cut out was smoking. Wiring was correct but the paint on the bottom of the cut out and generator was not making a good ground. Live and learn.
