Has been a long time since I've been to that board, but he had answered several of my questions also. Sorry to hear that.

If you ever asked a question on the Farmall forum at YTMAG Hugh probably helped you at one time or another. He will be missed a lot over there.

This is sad news, I haven't been over there in a while, but Hugh was as patient and friendly as they come.
A great fellow indeed, he will be missed.

Gord is going to be devastated. Gord and Lilli left this morning and are on board a cruise ship that left NY this afternoon. I am not sure how I am going to get hold of him to tell him. Gord and Hugh have been friends for about 30 years I guess. I will also have to tell my twin brother's Mother in Law. Mary and Hugh grew up together in the Middle Musquidoboit area of Nova Scotia about an hour and a half away from us. Hugh was sitting here in our kitchen last year having Fricot with Gord, Em and I talking about Mary's hubby John Cook who passed away about 3 years ago. Hugh and John were chums as well and Hugh had a lot of respect for Pops. Hugh also let me know when Mary's brother Arthur Kent passed away.

Our condolences go out to his family. Hugh had finally retired from part-time dead-heading commercial trucks when Ryder bought out the company he worked for. He sure knew a lot about IH's and has a pretty nice group of Letter Series tractors himself. Gord and I were in the process of doing a deal between Hugh and his other chum Dale McKay. Yes, Larry.. the same one you met.

We are really going to miss him. So many conncections to him and us via family and friends. This is really sad news.
