Hello from Kentucky
Hey guys I am new to the tractor seen. Just recently found and bought my Grandfathers cub tractor. Needs a lot of work and will probably ware you guys out on questions. He sold it around 30 years ago and has been through 6 or 7 people. My mom give me a picture when I was around 3 or 4 sitting on the tractor. Now I hope to get it done and get a picture of my little girl on it. She is two.

Re: Hello from Kentucky
Chris, welcome to the forum. I see you're from an appropriately named town for this forum.. You are about 3 1/2 hours away from The Barnyard Bash Cubfest in Ohio this May. You may want to plan on attending. It's a great opportunity to learn more about your Cub from folks that know them best..
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Hi Chris and welcome.
It's always good to get another KY boy on the board. It is great that you found your Granddad's tractor. I see that you are down around Noline Lake. That's not too far from Louisville. Fire away with the questions.

Re: Hello from Kentucky
I would assume that considering the area, that Cub Run refers to bear cubs, not Farmall cubs.

Re: Hello from Kentucky
Thanks everyone for the welcome!! Years ago the town was named crossroads and the story is one day a cub, run through the middle of town and an old man setting there said Run Cub Run and it stuck. Sorry to say it didn't have anthing to do with IH but it does sound neat. The name of our elementry school is Cub Run Cubs. We are just a few miles from Mammoth Cave KY if that helps with the location. I will get some pictures up of the cub and one my mom give me of me setting on it around 30 years ago a little latter. Thanks again!!

Wow, from a place called Cub Run… tracked down Grandpa’s Cub and has an interest in bringing it back to life. This sounds like the stars were all aligned and it was meant to be… especially when you found this website! Welcome aboard and you will see that there is a wealth of information and help at your fingertips (not to mention actual help at Cubfests!).
Best of luck,
Best of luck,
