Is anyone besides me having troubles with posts on the board showing aas read that haven't been? I just upgraded to Windows XP, and have been having problems with posts suddenly being marked as read that haven't been, sometimes while I'm still on the board.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

John, I am running XP on my laptop and there are no problems with it.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

John, this may be a problem with the board software. You might want to send Dennis a note.

I'm not seeing on my end tonight (119 new messages).

I'll do a rebuild on the database and see if that clears things up for you.

I did a rebuild on all the database tables. Let me know if you are still having problems -- there were a few errors that could have caused this, but they were corrected.

Thanks,
Dennis

It still does it only sometimes on 2 different machines. One with XP Pro and all the updates and service pack 2 and the other with Windows 98 second edition with all updates.

Dennis:

I really didn't see this problem up until today. On both mine and Em's account. We both knew we hadn't read any posts, but they showed up as being read.... I am running Win98SE on this particular computer. Now mind you, this one has been corrupt for a long time, but as I said, that particular problem has not appeared until today.
