Very nice video. :D :D

My daughter and son-in-law are taking the son-in-law's brother to the Springfield, MO airport early tomorrow morning (Saturday). His leave is up and he is returning to Afghanistan to finish his tour of duty. We said our thanks. :||):

Thanks Don, that is very touching. We just can't do enough to show our support for the men and women who offer to give up everything to keep us safe here at home. It is too bad that many who live here don't give a hoot one way or another.

I bought some things from a fella in Oklahoma last week. He called me the day I was sending the check and said;

"I don't normally do this, but I'm sending this stuff out before I get your check. My guard unit got called up for Afghanistan and I am leaving Saturday for Georgia for some training. If the check gets to me before I leave that would be great. If not, my son will forward it to me. I just wanted to make sure your parts went out before I left."

What do you say to a guy like that. Never met me before, never dealt with me before, and puts his faith in me. I thanked him for his trust and thanked him again for what he was about to encounter. I wished him luck and told him to be safe. That guy is an American through and through.

The parts arrived within a few days as he said. I never sent the check. Okay, okay...I'm kidding...of course I sent the check.

Say a prayer for everyone of them. This is a hard time for them and their families.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

excellent video. THANKS for sharing.
Son in law(army) just got back from Iraq, did a year. Left his one month old baby.
Daughter(active duty army, now civilian) had done a year in northern part of South Korea just before that.
Other daughter feeds 200 troops every month for the weekend(national guard).
One son repairs the big generators once a month that go overseas. (reserves).
The military wont take the other two, say they are too young. But we are looking at the military academy of New Mexico.
They both are anxious and excited to go and serve as they here all the good stories our children, me, Johnna, her father, her brother, my father had during our many years of service.
