Nice looking Cub there. I like the looks of the newer Cub's with the yellow and white paint scheme, gives a nice contrast.

Now, I am wondering on the exhaust system (pipe and muffler) did they just put this type on the LoBoys? I have noticed on the regualr Cubs, they have it going straight up out of the top of the hood.

I could use a new one on my LoBoy, mine is not rusted thru yet, but not far from it. I just got a new O.E.M. catalog and they just show mufflers and not the actual exhaust system running along the side and back under the wheel housing. Unless I have overlooked it. I don't know about having a new one made at a muffler shop, I don't know if they would even have the smaller bending dies or not.

Anyhow, where could I locate a new exhaust sytem, like is on HR's?

John, the underslung exhaust pipe is still available from Case IH. It is not cheap. You may have a problem finding a muffler shop to bend it since it is very small pipe compared to what they typically work with.

I'd at least give the muffler shops a call. Some of the imports have really small tail pipes. But their probably metric too.
I was thinking I saw some oversize conduit the other day. That might be a possibility. Mine is in good shape for now on the '74, but there will be a day when it aint! I use the heck outta that tractor.

Very nice HR! What brand of tire does he have on the rear?

The tread design indicates they may be Armstrong/Titan, or a "knock-off/copy" of them.

The back tires are mis-matched, and I don't recall the brand, but the back left had a tread design shaped like a dog bone. The expense is keeping him from replacing them now. I'll get some more pics up soon.
