No, in my youth we used to cruz the Delta and from time to time would tie up in Locke and go eat at Al's. Later when I lived in Pollock Pines, I took care of television equipment at the tall towers near Locke. When I'm in the area I get my fix of steak, peanut butter and homemade apricot jam for sure.
oh ok, i was mistaking you for someone else

For $500 I don't think you can go wrong. I know I would grab it if it was closer.

500 is a great deal! Get it before someone else does....If thats the asking price he might go lower, Heck ask him how much to by the C and the JD, might be able to turn the JD for some money.

never looked at the jd too closely. he has a cleatrac 20c crawler that i was also interested in im not really into the old jd's. what model is that jd? i know deere's are a popular collector tractor, but will that one sell as it sits for a pretty good price?
btw- thanks for all the advice guys, thats why i love this site so much.

Its a 46 or 47?(have to run the serial to be exact) JD A model(almost positive), 30 HP, rear wheels are flip inward, I'm thinking about 2200 for it if it runs, if not and the motor turns over with good compression, 1500+ Thats my are though and my opinion, Hope that helps. I would love to have both, Josh

im not bringing home a super c guys. the owner and i agreed on a price and a day to come with a trailer and pick up on sunday then he never returned my calles or emails. the guy seemed a little fishy to me when i met him.when looking at the equipment, he sayed he didnt know and asked me the model year or anything else of another tractor, when i told him around what years it could be, he agreed with me and told me i was correct. i think he was tring to take atvantage of someone that didnt know better. its a shame but oh well, i think it was better not going through with that deal.
but theres more farmalls around here. i just heard of a cub and possibly 10-20 A's around here possibly for sale. i will have to investigate
