Re: chicksHey Dertyred ! how are the Babies doing still only 5 ? I made me a home made incubator me and the grandchildren hatch some road Island red's every year lot's of fun but the rooster's can bee a pain.

Re: chicksGet some more eggs. You still have time. I incubated 100 eggs in my Kindergarten class one year, 60 hatched. You could hear peeping when you rounded the corner at the end of the hall in the mornings. I like incubated chicks better than "sat" chicks. Hard to get my hands on chicks with a protective mama around.
