New drivers farmall 130

Postby cowboy » Wed Mar 31, 2010 2:28 pm

I had a surprise visit from my Aunt and Uncle today. I fired up the 130 for Uncle Phil to drive. And I was surprised when Aunt Rusty got on and took it for a test drive too.

The grass is getting green I need to get a mower on a tractor. Looks like it need a cut next week. Aunt Rusty noticed the little trailer right away. Grandpa got it used when I was 5 or 6 years old and we used to ride in it all the time. The only difference between now and then is that I put atv tires on it after the original rims rusted out.

We had a great visit. And a lot of fun. Aunt Rusty said the Grandpa's bolens lawn was a lot of fun to drive. But the 130 was great and wanted to take it home :D

Were the lights on the 130 always mounted up high like that? With the lights in that position, it looks like a Cub that went on steroids and did some heavy lifting for about 6 months. BEEFY!!

Billy why shouldn't your aunt enjoy driving a tractor? She is your kin.

When I first saw this thread, I thought maybe you were upgrading the computer from XP to Win7.

Howdy Bill

In general she does not like to drive anything. And it was hard for us to get her on the tractor.

Cool Jim :D

Hope to see ya this year :!:
