Postby ScottyD'sdad » Sat Apr 10, 2010 5:11 pm

Airman Scott has graduated from boot camp. He was lucky enough to get his first choice, Pavements and Construction school. (heavy Equipment operation)
Its at Fort Leonard Wood, in Missouri. Any forum people, near there? From what we hear, NOTHING is near there. (Polaski county),135 mi SW of St. Louis, Mo.) Ed

Congrats. He cleans up rather well!!! I assume he will be be in a red horse squadron. I worked with them in Chu Lai many many years ago. Great outfit. Good luck to him and tell him I'm proud of him. The Army Engineer School there (FLW) is supposed to be the top of the line for training. Grump

Ed - please add our congratulations and thanks to Scott! I'm sure there must be someone on the forum close to Ft. Leonard Wood. John Puckett is about a hundred miles or so from there.
