CC Original Air cleaner installation

Postby Pony Master » Mon May 31, 2010 8:16 pm

I am getting ready to install my newly acquired oil bath air cleaner. I am sure there is supposed to be a bolt that goes right on top of the neck of the pot metal top. What size is that bolt, and is it a special style?

here is the bolt from the parts list(Screw, 1/4-20 X 5/8 Hex Hd Cap). The elbow gets stripped out and I had up to 3/8" capscrews used. If it's stripped out I take the 3 small screws off and put a nut & lock washeron a slightly longer screw.
The Geezer from IHregistry.com which crashed and is now Cub Cadet Collectors.
