Froghunter: What Brinly lift rod? The only lift bars I know of are the 2 that may have 3 holes and be slotted used on the sleeve hitch.

The picture you have is a universal lift pin made by Jim Steel about 10 years ago. The lift pins were suppose to stay with the implements. The universal pin has 2 indexing holes as the Tiller uses the hole vertically and most of the rest use the hole indexed horizontally. The ones for the Originals use the bottom left hole for the cotter pin and don't have indexing holes(THe top casting isn't drilled like the rest of the Cub Cadets). Some pins have the washers weded on them and some don't. All the 3/16" cotter pin holes on the left end of the pin must be close enough to the end to let those pins turn 360 without binding. E-mail me and I will send you of one with dimensions on it.

Hi Frog Hunter: Just to busy to keep up with my E-mail and forums. I will send the picture with the dimensions. I did look at one of my other pins yesterday and it is like the one I will E-mail you the picture. I'm guessing but the lift pins with the washers welded on are from Brinly. if it has the cotter pin hole about 1/8" from the front end then it's for an Original. It may or may not have the 3/16" indexing hole used on the NF & WF. the indexing hole is used to set the rear holes Horizontal(most implements) or Vertical for the Tiller. the washer welded on is needed on the CCO as it keeps the pin from rubbing on the casting. only weld that washer to the pin on the rear side of the washer as it will interfere with the dimension to the rear hole and/or the indexing hole.

Those pins were supplied with the implements and not the 3 point hitches but are usually left in the tractor so they get lost from the implement.
