storm rolled thru and laid the beautiful corn to the ground had 2 &3 ears to the stalk i about cried two more weeks and we would have been eating corn from this patch

Had that happen many years ago Just stood them back up and hilled each one as I did so. IT worked. Of course it was just a small garden patch. The other variety which was shorter did not go over but I hilled that too.

it wiped out the whole bunch. broke most of them off bout a foot up laid over some pepper that aint a foot high but left some stuff alone mother nature can be wierd. we got some more corn that is about knee high. wished i had some cows i got plenty of fodder now
