New old man from MO

Postby bear10 » Sun Jul 04, 2010 3:02 pm

Hi, My name is Dennis Shonk and I use bear10 for a handle. I use that as a short name for my old dog that is no longer with me. His name was teddybear. I bought a cub about 3 weeks ago at a rummage sale(imagine that) Don't know a whole about tractors but I liked this little cub, it's a 49 and looked to be in pretty good shape. It has a belly mower that's on it now. a turning plow , a disk, harrow, cultivator, front blade, sickle bar mower, and rear wheel weights. I gave $2500 for it. Maybe too much as I didn't see the implements, and I still haven't as the guy had to go out of town. Will get them somewhere around July 8. I just completely rewired it as someone had switched the battery cables around and made it neg ground. The wiring was getting kinda cracked so just redid it. Sorry for such a long post.

Welcome aboard! Be sure to check the announcements page for a cubfest near you. Below my signature has details for the next DOcfest. Straight shot on interstate for you, but a little far. The one in Kansas might be closer and of course Cubarama.....
