Purple Power and washed tonight in anticipation of the upcoming work
http://www.farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=53976
and guess what start showing thru in some spots - white paint.
Took some photos...will load to PhotoHost shortly.

Is there a way to upload more than 5 pics at a time?

Dave, what is the serial number? Does it fall into the Demo range?

It was great to meet you at the Tug by the way. You rode with one of the best. I'm sure a lot of Cub stories were told during the ride.

Thanks...I enjoyed meeting you and all the other great folks as well. :{_}: ...and thanks for the disc.
It was a great opportunity to spend so much time with Albie...I probably should have recorded it all. :D

Serial number the best I can determine [somebody painted over it real good  ] is 104586.

I would say it is a Demo. Take a pic of every piece you find that is white for documentation.

Well, if somebody wants a "white one" to restore, speak up now...otherwise it will probably be "Cub red" [what my daughter calls IH red]

That's a pleasant discovery Dave. 8) 8) Looks to be a nice tractor overall. Would turn out nice in either color I'm sure.

I would say its a Demo....... You can't be seriously considering painting it red? That would be a shame, in my opinion. Gotta go white. Maybe i should add it to my collection of white tractors.

Dave, I would keep it and paint it red again. That way you have a demo and after all, it was red when it left the dealer. Keep your photos as documented proof that you have a demo.

Do a carefully applied white paint job. After it is completely assembled, do a quickie layer of red, so bits of white can be seen on close inspection or anywhere the red gets chipped/worn.
