Did you by chance come to Mo. to get them? Neighbor sold some goats today.

I don't have any yet, but when I do I will pass on the Boer Goats and get Kiko's.

Kiko's are parasite resistant, don't have hoof problems and are great mothers, where the boer is not so much. The boer does produce more meat, but require more upkeep.

I have two pure bred Nubians does and a billy i haven't quite figured out yet ,outside of he is ornery. I also just purchased a buck Nubian out of Womelsdorf PA. that is supposed to be out of some very good milking lines , he's young born may 16th this year.

Good luck. I'm a goat owner wanna be...my wife said if i get a goat she's leaving. She is kidding of course. :) I'm still working on trying to get the chickens and chicken coop going. I'm getting there but it's taking longer than I'd like. Just too many other things going on. Good luck with the goats.

I have 10 chickens and now have 5 more pigmy goats. My brother and sister'n law decided they needed a break, so I brought the 5 to my place for a total of 7. Two of the 5 were blue ribbon winners at the local fair. The others lived at the Toledo Zoo for a few months in the petting zoo. I have one that was bottle fed and she won't leave you alone. She wants out of the pen to be around you.

Well I got rid of the nutty goat and hope to pick my buddies buck up between now and the weekend. The buckling I picked up in May will be six months tomorrow but i won't take any chances as far as them being bred.I don't think the young one will breed them he kinda launches up over them when he was trying , More of an annoyance to the does then anything. I just picked up a burdizzo off of epay but can't seem find a good debudder on there but found a pretty nice one here,https://www.caprinesupply.com/shop/?page=shop/browse&category_id=c51a2f6c3c76fe394b5ffb1868e870e9&ps_session=49f2a9a86eaac98ce5f4754a4501dbca
