Yep the bright red stuff is Canada Red. That is what I would want if I was making strawbewrry - rhubarb jam. I can't see mixing green and red together. I have Victoria which is greenish. That stuff can be started from seed in the spring and harvested in the fall. It does come back year after year.
Rhubarb is a heavy feeder so fertilize heavily. Don't get excited if a few leaves die in the hot part of the summer. Vern

I get mine at Southern States. Similar to Agway, if you don't have SS in your area. It's a farm supply coop.
