How to remove radiator grill on FarmAll A - Want to know

Postby Dognose » Sat Aug 07, 2010 5:11 pm

Can someone list the step for "How to remove radiator grill on FarmAll A"

I have an idea on how to remove the radiator grill, but before I actually do it, I want someone to tell me the steps to perform this. I do not want to man handle a part and dent it up or ?

I saw the lubrication point chart for the cub. Is there a lube chart for the Farmall A available?

3 bolts one on each side at the top and one in the center at the bottom, Spray em good with liquid wrench or you favorite stuff many times, they are fine thread and will ring off in a New York minute, Take the hood off first. just turn the J hooks Do you have an A or SA? SA has hydraulics

I may have a chart

Dognose:

I don't have an Owner's Manual for the Farmall A, but I do have one for the Super A - Super AV. I would think it would be similar.

I do have the TC-26E Parts Catalog For the A-B

Here is the page with the Radiator and Grille

It is a little on the large size.. I haven't had a chance to resize these ones yet..

Take the hood off first. Then remove the 3 bolts or quarter turn fasteners (as appropriate). Remove the radiator cap. Pull the bottom forward to clear the lower part of the radiator and the mounting bracket. Lift it straight up and off. Watch your fingers.
