New Owner and Member in Maine
We recently moved to Aroostook County, Maine after retiring in St Louis MO. My wife and I both have roots in Maine/New England. We have 6 acres here upon which we intend to garden and raise a few animals. We purchased a '54 Cub with sickle mower, cultivator, moldboard and snow plows, and pulley/belt for PTO. The PO had all of the original manuals which will be useful for someone who has never owned a cub (or any other tractor) before. The Cub is in good running order but I expect I'll be putting the knowledge to use that I gained rebuilding my '74 Triumph. It is good to see there is help and advice avaiable here as well. Wish me luck!

Kevin, welcome to the group. Don't be afraid to ask any question you have about your Cub.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: New Owner and Member in Maine
Nice to hear another member up the 'The County'. We have a member (kinelbor) with a Cub from New Sweden, but he is in VA these days. I get up that way occasionally and have seen the area from a snowmobile many times.
Best wishes for your new home and Cub!

Kevin:
Congrats on the retirement and the relocation to a very nice part of the North-East. Aroostoock County is a very pretty place that Em and I have visited on many occasions, very much like here at home in NB. And double congrats on the 54 Cub - that is one year that I eventually hope to acquire myself
Do follow the links below.. Even though you may have some of the Original Manuals you will find the Parts Catalogs, Service Manuals as well as the Implements and many, many other resources available via the server or on our forums.
