Curtis Cab install finished

Postby Rick Prentice » Tue Sep 07, 2010 7:54 pm

I stopped by George's today to take some pics. George did a nice job finishing things up. Again, this was a universal cab made by Curtis and we had to completely make all the brkts and resew all the canvas and clear plastic. Click to enlarge.

Two master craftsmen working together. The results are great. Now everybody will want one.

Thanks for the update!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

That is a beautiful sight..... I agree with the snow hiding this winter.

Nice work (as always) Rick and George.

Nice job!!!! Now there's a snow removal machine.

Were having a shortage of rain right now and if we don't get any soon it will make up for it in snow.

Rick,
Did you or George ever hook up the ceiling "heater" that was on the cab? If so, could you post pictures of your heater hose hook-up to the engine.
Thanks, NJDale

Dale, I kinda talked George out of hooking up the heater. Just having the wind blocked makes it totally enjoyable, and you don't have any foggy windows created with all the heat. I'l post some pics IF he changes his mind.

Thanks guys for all the comments,
Rick

The engine may push some heat to the rear anyway.

But i purchased a trailer truck cab heater, a cb radio and a am/fm radio too put in my SIMS cab. My sims cab also has the blinking lights on the rear, turn signals, wiper and the rotary light on the top. Yup i know i'll need an alternator to operate it all too. I already purchased another fcub starter.
