IH 424 loader questions

Postby washbb » Sun Oct 03, 2010 8:04 pm

We have an IH 424 Diesel that we are installing a small loader on and are wondering if the original hydraulic pump will handle that or if we should go with a larger pump or a PTO driven pump? Anybody running one of these tractors with a loader that could give some guidance?

The stock pump should handle an Ag loader. The 2444 industrial had an outboard pump that ran off the crankshaft for heavier use.
