IH stationary engine

Postby Brent » Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:04 am

:D :D
I just bought an IH LB 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hp stationary engine at a tractor show. I'm trying to find out what year it is. Serial # LBA 10245. Anyone know what year it is or where I can find out.

Thanks

Check your tag again. 10245 should be an LA engine from 1935 and have a prefix of LA. If your number is really LBA 10245x, where x is a digit missed when reading the tag, it would be a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 LB from 1946.
