I just bought an IH LB 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hp stationary engine at a tractor show. I'm trying to find out what year it is. Serial # LBA 10245. Anyone know what year it is or where I can find out.
Thanks

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment. Will Rogers
Re: IH stationary engineCheck your tag again. 10245 should be an LA engine from 1935 and have a prefix of LA. If your number is really LBA 10245x, where x is a digit missed when reading the tag, it would be a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 LB from 1946.
Re: IH stationary engineJim, Thanks. I missed a 5. Could hardily make it out. Always try the easiest thing first.
