Northern Indiana Historical Power Assn. Show

Postby ricky racer » Sun Sep 27, 2009 6:44 pm

Visited the NIHPA show this last weekend. They were featuring Case Tractors. Among the featured tractors were a couple of cross motor Case tractors, one of them was this behemoth.

The operator was serving an apprenticeship and being given direction by the expert sitting on the tractor seat.

Just plain gotta love the tractors and machinery from that era in time. Clumsy? Yes, Awkward? Yes, but they still demonstrated some very ingenious thinking and you just have to respect and admire the guys that thought it up and then made it work.

I also respect those who have restored them from whatever ugly condition they were found in. Finding parts, making parts, etc....
