Re: 1977 International Cub
All kidding aside Bob, I love your tractor you have. It is a gem. I plan to restore my yellow and white cub to look the same. I have a photo of what I WANT the finished project to be. I do like the long black side decal and black grill better that the image I found. It's still "as is" in the original photogragh. Needs no internal work. Runs like a top and the tranny and clutch are tight. The hood is very rough. That will take some time . Hopefull final look,,,,,, ![]()
Re: 1977 International CubI have a 74 yellow and white that is my best tractor. It was one-owner and I think that makes a big difference as it was clearly well maintained. Great engine, nice quiet transmission, just the typical paint failure and I don't know why but it seems like the white hoods all are rusty. I don't think that original white paint stood up as well in the sun as the red- but maybe the red does not show the rust as well. I am not in a hurry to paint this one as I use it for mowing and just don't have the time to start and finish a project like that in between mowing seasons.
That red tractor looks like the one that was for sale in Southeastern Connecticut for a while.
