I am so sorry to hear that Dan passed. Even though I never met him in person I considered him a good friend and helpful person.

I am sorry to hear the news. I first met Dan at one of the Cub-Aramas many years ago. I, as everyone here, will miss him.

Re: Dan England
As has been recanted often here, I am another Forum member who never had the obvious pleasure/honor to meet your Father. As recently as 2 months ago, he posted about all the wonderful birds he was feeding in the yard and it was obvious what great pleasure he derived from that activity. A passing such as your Father's is usually harder on those who survive so my hope and message to you is take great comfort from the kind words of many and realize he was one of the "good guys" who made a difference and touched many lives in the process. Best wishes ! Craig

Very sorry to hear of Dan's passing. Enjoyed the thread about What to will to who. Also enjoyed talking with him about family histories (some of the wife's mother's family was from AR.) He will be missed on the forum.

Nancy and I did have the privilege of meeting Dan - we were enroute from TX to Back Home Again in IN, and he was kind enough to meet us for breakfast.

Re: Dan England
So that we may be able to pay our last respects to our friend and mentor, would it be possible for the Funeral Home to post an on-line Book of Condolences ?

Rudi - there is a link on the main forum in the post about Dan's funeral arrangements. The funeral home page does have an online guestbook.
