Re: New Chicken FarmerKevin,
Here is a little food for thought: http://www.ext.colostate.edu/pubs/foodnut/09377.html http://www.poultry.msstate.edu/extension/pdf/home_floks.pdf http://extension.umd.edu/publications/PDFs/MEP300.pdf There should be enough information for you to get up and running. Hey Kevin, does Marshallville have a leash law? Oh, sorry, I just had to ask!I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.

Re: New Chicken FarmerKevin,
We've had chickens for 9 years now. We got this book early on and it's been a big help. ![]() Nothing like fresh laid eggs that have been fed a decent layer pellet and allowed to roam a little. Peter
Re: New Chicken FarmerCan't wait till it gets warmer out.Chickens are getting restless in the wash tub.Need to be outside, not in the basement.Garage would be better, still to chilly at night!!Kevin ps ,,,can't wait for the first eggs!!!
