You got that right! Just about anything has to be better than what we have been having here.

Re: Barnyard Bash Head Count
It looks like the weekend is shaping up well. As long as somebody brings a lot of sun and no clouds we should be all set.
We have about 36 names on the list counting ones we know are coming but aren't listed here. Rosie is going to buy most of the vittles this weekend so please let us know if you will be here so she has enough. This years menu is somewhat the same as last year. We will have a meat/cheesetray Friday at lunch, Friday dinner will be barbecued Boston Butt, the lasagna was great in years past but a lot of work on the cook's part. Saturday lunch we will fire up the grill with burgers, metts, hot dogs and chicken breasts. Saturday Dinner will be finishing off the leftovers unless there aren't any then it will be KFC. Covered dishes or a dessert of some sort are always welcome.
Keep in mind we will have pastries, coffee and juice in the mornings. You are on your own if you are looking for a full breakfast (the cook will be sleeping in every morning). Campers, if you bring your breakfast, you are welcome to use our grills and utensils if you want to fix your breakfast on site.
Looking forward to seeing all our Cub friends again this year, as well as meeting many of the new members who plan to attend.
Please safe drively in your travels!

Re: Barnyard Bash Head Count
Bill, I know it's late posting a reply, but due to the recent happenings oversea's, we've been a little busy with work at Wright-Patt and I was going to be working this weekend.
However, I made a deal this morning to work some double-shifts next week in trade to get this Saturday off, so wether you like it or not, you'll have to put up with me along with Jeff SIlvey.
Hope to make it be pulling in around 8-9, but I can only come on Saturday, as I will be working at the base on Sunday. Can't wait.....MD

That's what I meant, next weekend.......Must be getting older, I keep having to ask folks what day of the week it is as lately they have all been running into one another.

Looks like I'll be there on Saturday only. There's a possibility of my wife making it too, as it now appears I'll have to travel a few more miles up the road to Wright-Pat to get my grandkid's swing set to bring home as well... (priority shipment)
You guys know how it is...lol

Stan

Re: Barnyard Bash Head Count
It still looks like some rain is forcast for next week, but that has happened every year. An hour of rain and then a nice day after that has been the norm. Heck, we even plowed the garden on Saturday after a Friday rain two years ago.
The head count is up to 56 folks so far. Looks like we will have a good turn out, rain or shine. We are definitely looking forward to the fun time.
