IH Cub 782 and a 1650 Deck

Will the deck from a 1650 fit an IH Cub 782?

Yes, it should, however at some point in the 1000 series production, they changed from 3/8" drive belts to 5/8" drive belts, which is what is on your 782. You may have to change deck pulleys if it is a 3/8" drive on the mower deck. Alternatively, you might get away with running the 3/8" mule drive belt on your 5/8" PTO pulley, but I'm not sure if the pulley is narrow enough at the bottom to run the belt effectively without slipping.
