Green one followed me home

Postby Bob McCarty » Mon Aug 29, 2011 2:09 pm

No, dark green. Our farm show has an auction of donated items to raise operating funds. I am now the owner of a 1946 Shaw N8. Runs well, but has some governor issues. I'll be back with questions. Unfortunately, other than a club website that isn't very helpful, I haven't found much on the internet about it.
Pictures in 2014. :D

John, If you have a good imagination, here's one on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SHAW-DU-ALL-TRA ... 23139c28db Mine is all together, runs, and cost a lot less.

Bill, It's similar but has a cast iron front piece (where the Cub grill would be) and a short sheet metal hood over the top. It has a B-S 8 hp engine. The gas tank in your picture looks like the one on a Gibson A or D, but may be typical for Wisconsin engines.

Bill, When I scrolled down, I missed the first picture. That's a Shaw. My comments refer to the second tractor.

Bob, I probably confused you because I had edited my post while you were typing. You wouldn't have seen my edit at that time and it would not show that it was editted because you had not yet replied. I knew you meant the second photo, but thanks for clarifying that for the others.
