Here they come !!!

Postby Kodiak » Sun Sep 25, 2011 5:49 pm

Already beginning to arrive here for Stonethrow :{_}: Corky brought his cub and wagon by today to beat the crowd and get the best parking space  While he was here this afternoon my Grandson, Daniel went for a test ride in the wagon to see if the trails for the kids ride was satisfactory......I think Corky got the thumbs up so we're good to go :D

Weather should be Great so come on down. :{_}: :{_}: :{_}:
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Dang, that's the spot I wanted! I guess we better hurry on down there before all the good spots are taken.

What? No "slip 'n' slide" into the parking lot this year?

The trailer is almost loaded. Can't wait to get there. By the way, is there a theme for the parade this year? (I know, Raymond asked first) I still have a clown suit laying around somewhere. If the theme is "Gentle Animals As Pets" I think I know where I can borrow a bunny suit.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Yep, Kodiak cut the wagon trails nice and curvy this year, and there'll be plenty of room on Corky's Kid Karrier for wagon rides! Daniel gave his stamp of approval during the test run, so we're good to go!

As for the theme of the parade, I forgot to ask Kodiak...but Raymond, let's just tell Bill it's "pink rabbit" this year so we can watch him try and fit into Ralph's costume!

Safe travels you all...see you when you get here! Ron's got his shop all gussied up and ready for some work, and I got the pigs on ice and ready to put on the coals!

I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

Well, sad to say, jan's cub won't be ready for the trip. We will be down on Th. though to help out where we can, relax and socialize with all out friends.

I have a couple cub express things, but won't be bringing the trailer since we have no cub ready to parade.

I have room for a lot of needed parts, but don't plan on bringing much that is not requested or possibly needed.

That's a nice theme, but how are we supposed to dress up for that? :?:
