Like many of the people on this forum, you have or want multiple Cubs. I can certainly understand that. It would be nice to dedicate a few to certain attachments making life easier. They're reasonably inexpensive, fun to drive, easy to work on, have an unbelievable amount attachments made for them, and are perfect for a large vegetable garden. With that said, this what I came home with.
I had a chance to buy this Super A from the original owner, a farm country grade school that bought it new. This tractor has never has it's tires in a cornfield or a beanfield, just mowed grass all it's life. All the original castings are intact and in perfect condition. It's a late 1953, so it might have the bigger engine, I'll have to get some books on it. My friends wife works at the school and told him about it and all he wanted was the original turf tires.
The search for a Cub continues though, because if someone said I could have only one tractor, The SA or my Cub, I'd pick the Cub hands down. The perfect tractor for my large garden, just what it was designed for.

Most of the paint is original. The hood and front were painted years ago. I was thinking of selling the mower, it's a monster! I also have the right size R1's for the rear, but I need narrower rims. This thing is almost a true survivor.
